International Student Orientation

Attendance at one of the International Student Orientations is mandatory for all new incoming students. This orientation provides you with important information about maintaining your immigration status, as well as what you need to know about your new university and city. There is no charge for this orientation, but you must register online.

Planning Your Arrival: You can enter the U.S. up to 30 days prior to the start date on your I-20. (Transfer students who are in the U.S. are considered "continuing" students and are not subject to this 30-day period). The start date on your I-20 is the first day of classes. WINTER BREAK CLOSURE: The University will be closed for Winter Break on December 25 and will re-open on January 4.
