    Read this first edition of the new student newsletter for information about check-in, orientation, and housing! More newsletters to come!

• Pre-Departure Information for Chinese Students – Created by the NAFSA: Association of International Educators, this website provides general information about what to expect in the US and can be helpful to new students from any country.

Note: All international students must come to the International Center to complete their “check-in” soon after arrival in Tallahassee. Students must check-in at least one day before orientation. The IC will make copies of the passport/visa, I-94 card and I-20 or DS-2019. Students must also report a local address and provide an emergency contact name and contact information. If you have not submitted the Certification of Financial Responsibility, information, please do so as soon as possible to prevent any delays in issuing your Form I-20 or DS-2019.  Please see information about funding on our web page for Prospective Students. For inquiries regarding your I-20 or DS-2019 form or about the CFR, please contact the Student Services Coordinator at 850.645.1424 or by email at IC-NewStudents@fsu.edu.. All forms are available in alternative format upon request.
