A Letter from the IC Staff
Dear New FSU International Student:
Welcome to Florida State University! We look forward to welcoming you to Tallahassee. The
International Center and its staff are here to serve international students and their
families. We provide advising about F and J visa requirements, coordinate international
activities on campus and assist students and their families in many aspects, such as
cultural adjustment, employment matters, housing and personal problems. The center offers
meeting space to international student organizations, a kitchen, and lounges for recreational
use. We hope that the IC becomes a "home" to you and your friends during your stay at Florida
State.
The information in the Pre-Arrival section has been prepared to answer some of the many questions that you are likely to have as you prepare to travel to Tallahassee.
Please read the Pre Arrival Information carefully. It will answer most, if not all, of your
questions.
