Reciprocal Exchange Abroad
Although there is no formal process at FSU to ensure reciprocal exchange abroad, the J program does envision U.S. faculty and students going abroad in similar numbers to the visitors from abroad brought to our campus. Please feel free to share with us your plans for doing research, studying, and training abroad in an exchange program. We will include this information in the report we send to the Department of State each year.
There are several resources for funding study or research abroad which may be of interest to FSU faculty and students:
The International Center’s Beyond Borders cultural exchange program.
Florida State University’s Office of National Fellowships – provides grant and fellowship information for students.
U.S. Department of State general Fulbright information is at http://exchanges.state.gov/education/fulbright/usflb.htm.
Institute for International Education – administers both student and scholar programs, such as Fulbright grants; see www.iie.org .
IREX – Administers grants for U.S. scholars and students; see http://www.irex.org/programs/grants.asp#us.
