Insurance Supplements
Qualifying Graduate Assistants (teaching, research professional graduate assistants) and qualifying Fellows (McKnight, Gubernatorial, Non-duty teaching, Interdepartmental and Auzenne Fellows) enrolled for a minimum of 9 credit hours are eligible to receive an annual health insurance supplement for the university sponsored insurance plan. Graduate students should check with their departments to verify qualification and then go to the Thagard Health Center Insurance Office on the first floor of Thagard and purchase the university sponsored insurance plan. If you
qualify for the stipend, the supplement will be deducted from what you pay for 52 weeks of insurance.
This supplement is ONLY available for students using the university sponsored insurance plan. Contact your departmental Graduate Coordinator for questions or more information.
Note: If your insurance Is being paid by your department or Is supported by multiple sources, please have the paying department contact the Thagard Student Health Center Insurance Office directly.
