International Friends Program

The International Friends Program (IFP), offered by the International Center, matches new international students at FSU with people in the community for the purpose of sharing friendship and culture. Through this program international students have an opportunity to meet local residents and to learn more about local culture. Students do not live with their Tallahassee Friends; however, friends meet independently and are invited to join in a variety of social and recreational activities throughout the year. Accepting a Tallahassee Friend can ease your transition into U.S. culture and make your experience at Florida State much more enjoyable and enriching.
