International Student Scholarship Fund

The International Center is actively fundraising in order to get $25,000 by 2010 so that an endowment to fund international student scholarships can be established.  These scholarships will provide extra help to deserving students seeking graduate degrees at FSU. For more information on giving to this fund contact cagreen@admin.fsu.edu.

FSU Cultural Dinner Series

The FSU International Center Cultural Dinner Series was created as part of this fundraising effort.  Through these dinners, which are co-sponsored by the Woman’s Club of Tallahassee, it is hoped that the mission of the International Center will become more well-known to the Tallahassee community. The IC also aims to spread awareness about the important contributions that international students make to our campus and community, as well as promote learning more about their culture. The International Center’s Cultural Dinner Series will showacse a different cuisine each semester.

Three French Chefs

Fundraising for the 2007-2008 year kicked off with a fundraising dinner called “The Three French Chefs”, featuring three of Tallahassee’s most well known French chefs -- Pascal Pisoni, Albert Ughetto, and Eric Favier. The event was held on September 27 at the Woman’s Club of Tallahassee for approximately 85 people and was a tremendous success.
